Japanese artists coming to Clay2day!
We're very happy to announce that they'll be a strong Japanese presence at Clay2day this year. Five Japanese artists are coming specially over from Japan to give workshops here. Iesaka Ruriko will be doing a very creative Ikebana workshop on both days, Takahashi Rizu is giving a tea bowl workshop over two days, Oya Mie talks about "Sake- The Spirit of Japan", Kato Yuko will be doing workshops haiku and origami and Wali Hawes will lead us through the biggest ever tea ceremony outside Japan! Proceeds will be going to the Mashiko Potters fund to help the potters there that were struck down by the tsunami.
